Social events

Checklist: bring swimwear (pool, lake), casual shoes (walking tours)

The workshop will start on Thursday and in the evening during the must-have "welcome party" ice can break – if there is any: After the last presentation – and a break – there will be a barbecue (meat, vegetables, incl. salads) on the terrace with a wonderful view over the landscape.

On Saturday after lunch those who want can (re)visit Castle Riegersburg including a bird of prey demonstration. After this, there will be dinner in a local restaurant.

Sunday is off. No presentation, no workshop. We will help you to have some entertainment, e. g. organizing a trip to Graz, a guided tour through the castle. For those who want to relax, you can use the swimming pool at the hotel, or go hiking to the nearby lake. If getting bored then, challenge your colleagues in a tricky ping-pong game – equipment available.

Staying in a castle without visiting the wine cellar? No way. There will be an optional guided wine cellar tour on Monday evening. And yes, you can try wines there, too.
